This dialog manages the shape optimization process. In ProTOp this process is considered to be a continuous process that can be either in a running or interrupted state.
1. Select the desired active surface by choosing one of the two options:
2. Adjust the active surface control parameters: domain expansion control or activation stress threshold and expansion bandwidth.
3. Set the nodal movement rate and geometry-stress preference.
4. Set the requested number of optimization cycles.
5. Click the Run cycles button.
NOTE. Any of the above settings can be changed interactively at any stage of the optimization process. Changes are effective as of the first subsequent optimization cycle.
1. Click the Pause cycles button or select the Abort processing command from the drop-down menu.
NOTE. Aborting the optimization process may leave the active session in an ambiguous state with some of the state data files possibly being damaged. Use this option only if absolutely necessary.
