This dialog provides access to mesh cleaning procedures which operate in two separate modes:

• to remove tiny or thin elements exhibiting very short edges and
• to remove distorted low quality elements.

To clean the mesh ...

1. Click the Analyze button in order to get the mesh quality data.

2. Select either the

• Try remove tiny or thin elements with short edges or the
• Try remove distorted low quality elements

3. Adjust the mesh cleaning parameters: either the relative edge length threshold or the element quality threshold.

4. Click the Clean button.

NOTE. Mesh cleaning is permanent and can be reversed only by importing the source FEA model again.
