This dialog is used to make optional triangles reduction and export of the smoothed surface into one of the supported formats. Additional tools are provided to check and fix the surface in case of eventual geometrical faults.

To simplify and export a surface ...

1. Click the Check and Fix button to remove any defect vertex rings and to do some basic corrections and simplifications. This tool can be run several times, until the fixed and removed ring counts are zero.

2. Only if needed, simplify the surface mesh by triangles reduction. This tool can be either skipped completely or run several times with various parameters.

3. Click the Export surface ... command from the Export drop-down menu to export the surface. Within the export dialog one can chose among various export formats.

4. If desired, click the Save current surface ... command from the Export drop-down menu to save the current surface for eventual later use.

NOTE. The Undo and Redo buttons can be used to reverse any operations that might not yield the desired result.
